Silent Rest are soft silicone earplugs shaped to sit inside the bowl of the ear rather than push down the canal, which is why they stay in when you sleep on your side and why they do not ache by morning.
They will not make a room silent, and nothing that fits in an ear does. Voices and doors go soft and distant; the fridge and the traffic mostly disappear. That gap is the difference between waking up and rolling over.

These are passive silicone earplugs. There is no circuitry inside and nothing to charge. They work by sealing the ear canal so that sound arrives softer, which is why they keep working all night and why they cost you nothing to run.
Silent Rest comes in Purple, Silver and Transparent. Nova Silent Rest is violet, is waterproof, and includes small, medium and large caps so you can match the seal to your own ear.
Softer sound is not silence. A clock on the nightstand or a phone beside your head still comes through, muffled but there. If you already sleep through alarms, keep the clock close and turn it up a notch, or use one that vibrates under the pillow.

You have 90 days from delivery to send it back, which is three times what most shops give you. In Australia and New Zealand, orders over $149 ship free in 5 to 9 business days. Otherwise it is $11.99 standard, 10 to 14 business days, or $16.90 express, 4 to 7 business days.

You have 90 days from delivery to return it. The item has to come back unused and in its original packaging — these are personal-care products, so once they have been used we cannot take them back unless they are faulty.
Returns are by mail. Email hello@pillowery.com for a return authorisation, then post it back; return postage is yours and a 30% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns. Your refund lands within 14 days of the parcel reaching us.

Wash the earplugs in warm water with a drop of mild soap, then rinse them well. Rub gently with your fingers rather than a brush. Nova Silent Rest is waterproof, so it can go straight under the faucet.
Let them dry all the way through before you put them away. Damp silicone picks up lint and does not seal properly the next night. Keep them somewhere dry and out of the sun.
Wash them every few nights and they stay comfortable far longer.
Soft, flexible silicone. That is the whole story, and it is the reason these last: silicone springs back to its shape after being squeezed, while disposable foam gives up after a few nights and ends up in the trash.
There is no wax to warm up and go sticky, and no electronics, batteries or charging port anywhere in them. On Nova Silent Rest, the small, medium and large caps are silicone as well.
If you know that silicone irritates your skin, these are not the right choice for you. If a plug ever tears or loses its spring, stop using it.
